SMART CELL was designed to enable the highest possible automation of the changeover that the machine may require to run different carton size. The machine is composed of three modules- carton forming- groups preparation – loading. The first module enables completely automatic change-over managed through the HMI, avoiding any adjustment for the blank dispenser or hot melt glue guns for various case sizes. The second module prepares groups, using two conveyor belts and two OPM Fast Pickers. The final module has a 2 axis robot that picks the prepared product groups and places them into the case. This module also allows completely automatic change- over via the HMI.
