MixersAsk for product

The MTE and the series of PNM automatic mixers for dosing and mixing chocolate masses, creams and compounds (consisting of solid, powder or liquid raw materials, such as refined sugar, crystal sugar, cocoa, butter, milk, etc) are able to optimize the mixing cycle thanks to a series of special features, starting from a precision of the electronic dosing system (using load cells) up to continuous feeding of the refining lines, with a capacity from 500 up to 1850 kg/batch.

PRE REFINERSAsk for product

Pre-refining is widely employed by most chocolate producers, as it offers remarkable advantages. The input products are semi-liquid fatty masses with an average particle size distribution of approximately 500μm (measured by micrometer) and containing less than 1% solid particles with a maximum size of approximately 4mm.

The output product is a homogeneous mix with an average particle size distribution of 120-220μm, measured by micrometer, suitable for being fed into the successive refining line. By integration of the pre refiner into the line the mixing time can be easily reduced.

SACMI HCP series machines, equipped with various rolls size guarantee the required capacity. The discharged chocolate mass is homogenous in particle size and fluidity and that ensures the proper functionality of the following refining machine.

REFINERSAsk for product

Core of the chocolate preparation process are the automatic five rolls refiners HFI, that Carle&Montanari-OPM is constantly improving with the fineness control “MicronSense”, which guarantees a constant fineness in the refining process.

The process occurring in the refiner rolls is basically a function of two factors: particles crushing due to pressure of the rolls and particles crushing due to the shear force generated by the different speeds of the rolls. The machine is equipped with the system protecting the rolls from being damaged by the foreign body in case it is introduced to the machine.

SACMI HFI machines are available in three sizes (513, 518 and 525), the HFI series have an output from 850 up to 1.600 kg/h (at a 20 micron fineness)

Conching machinesAsk for product

For the final processing and transformation of refined cocoa powder into a finished product, the chocolate mass discharged form the 5 rolls refiner is loaded to conching machines. SACMI has a full range of conching machines: the CLOVER series (vertical conches), the HOMEGA series (two shafts horizontal conches) and the ALPHA series (horizontal conching machines with a single stirrer). The construction of each machine model is designed to ensure appropriate passage through all the conching phases, from dry to plastic and then to liquid phase.

Suitable for the final processing of the refined chocolate powder to become high quality chocolate products as well as surrogates or creams. All these conching machines provide a homogeneous mass of fluid chocolate, ready to be used in subsequent operations of storage and moulding, with a loading capacity from 3.000 to 10.000 kg.

Temperer machinesAsk for product

The vertical temperer machines BETA X are the perfect solution for all those customers who need extreme flexibility in tempering chocolate, compound and fatty or spread creams: the BETA X series can be used between 10% to 100% of its nominal flow rate.
It’s really compact and ready to use: thanks to the SMART TEMP, a patent pending feature, all machine parameters and sectors are automatically adjusted according to chocolate flow rate needed. This will bring more flexibility in the traditional tempering process with huge energy saving, especially with usage of Fast-Shell or similar cold punch technology (i.e. Frozen Cone, Cold Stamp, etc). Available in 3 sizes, BETA X1, X2 and X4, the BETA series has a capacity from 100 to 4000 kg/h.

NANO CHOCOLINEAsk for product

NANO CHOCOLINE is a small line for chocolate preparation, dedicated to small and medium chocolate manufacturers and can produce up to 250-300 kg of chocolate per hour. The important think is that the line despite its small size allows to receive super high quality product as it is composed of all the necessary machines that should be a part of chocolate line.

NANO line starts with the MTE 250 mixer for liquid and solid ingredients including the crystal sugar and then it is composed of 2 rolls pre- refiner that reduces the fineness to 100 µm, 3 rolls refiner that can discharge 250 kg of 20 µm mass per hour and 2 one shaft horizontal conches ALPHA 1, that guarantees top class final product.

NANO line can be also used in big chocolate factories to produce small batches of neesh products such as white chocolate or products without milk contamination.
